Sterling Claims uses the information you provide to operate the Sterling Claims Portal, schedule and perform claim-related inspections, deliver reports, respond to requests, process inspector applications, and protect our systems.

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to Sterling Claims websites, the Sterling Claims Portal at portal.sterling-claims.com, and related online services that link to this policy. It also applies when you contact us, request services, submit claim or inspection information, upload documents or photos, or apply to join our inspector network.

Separate written agreements with carriers, adjusters, vendors, inspectors, or other business partners may include additional privacy, confidentiality, data processing, or security terms. If a separate written agreement conflicts with this policy for a business account, that agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through our services, and limited technical information from your device or browser.

Account and Contact Information

This may include names, business names, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, usernames, passwords or authentication data, and communication preferences.

Claim, Inspection, and Portal Information

This may include claim numbers, policy or assignment details, property addresses, appointment notes, inspection requests, uploaded photos or documents, reports, estimates, measurements, scope notes, service history, and messages exchanged through the Portal.

Inspector Applicant Information

If you submit an inspector application, we collect the information in the form, such as your name, email, phone number, state, ladder availability, travel availability, and roof inspection experience.

Technical Information

When you use our site or Portal, we may collect IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, access times, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, and logs needed for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

Sensitive Information

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information unless Sterling Claims specifically requests it for a legitimate business reason.

How We Use Information
